Did you go?

The Australia v England cricket Test at Brisbane attracted many Inverell locals to the game, the Aussie victory satisfying their trek north. If you went and would like to share your experience with us, please contact mary.sinanidis@fairfaxmedia.com.au

Congratulations Kyla

Kyla Hamilton (Inverell Saints) was selected in the 2018 NSW/ACT Youth Girls Academy. Kyla has been performing very strongly in the NIAS Youth Girls Squad - but it is possibly her 5 goals straight in the 2017 Grandfinal, and her Best On for the finals series that sealed the deal for her. Don’t miss Friday’s issue of the Inverell Times for an interview with Kyla.

Claim the rebate

From January 31 2018, parents and carers of school-aged children enrolled in an approved sport or fitness activity can receive a $100 voucher to cover registration and participation costs for that calendar year. Parents will be able to apply for and download their vouchers from the Service NSW website (https://sport.nsw.gov.au) from the end of January.Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said the rebate would help to ease financial pressure on families. Each child is eligible to receive one voucher every year for the next four years.
