Secondary students filled the school hall to watch the dress rehearsal for the musical extravaganza on Tuesday morning. Accompanied by a choir of their classmates; dancers and actors were full of energy as they helped tell the Christmas story.
It was a unique retelling, falling the woes of a group of struggling reporters searching for a scoop to keep The Bethlehem Star afloat.
Along the way they encounter a troop of Roman soldiers, shepherds warming by the fire, a trio of kings carrying strange gifts and an expectant couple looking for a place to stay.
Parents, family and friends will have the chance to see the full performance at the school hall on Thursday at 12.15pm.
