Through the program, parents, carers and guardians across NSW will be able to claim a $100 voucher to put towards the registration and participation costs of sport and active recreation activities for their kids. With household budgets continually stretched, we want to ensure every child has access to sports and active participation for their health and wellbeing.
From 31 January 2018, parents, guardians and carers of children residing and participating in sport and other approved physical activities in NSW can apply for the voucher online through their MyServiceNSW account, and then redeem the voucher at their local sporting club or approved provider.
Whether your child participates in summer or winter sports or activities, Active Kids vouchers can be used until December 31 so there is no rush to claim. We want every child in NSW to be able to use their voucher, so we encourage parents to speak to their local club about registering to be an approved provider. For more information on the program visit sport.nsw.gov.au/activekids or phone Service NSW on 13 77 88.
