The animals were dumped on the side of the highway on the eastern side of town.
The illegal dumping of these feral animals, especially so close to town poses a serious Biosecurity risk with diseases such as Leptospirosis and also attracts significant fines under the Biosecurity Act.
Police are also investigating links to illegal hunting and trespassing in the Barwon area.
