The Junior challenge took place on Friday afternoon from 3.30pm onwards. Two groups competed in the junior division – 5-9 years and 10-14 years.
The kids worked together in teams to overcome obstacles. They dragged themselves through mud, climbed over hay, swam through murky water in new challenges lifting the competition up a notch from previous years.
The kids unplugged from technology and joined in the fun, playing in the way their parents did.
The spirit of teamwork reigned supreme as kids completed the challenges and then went back for more.
All proceeds from the well-organised event are channeled back into the Inverell community.
Photographs, courtesy of Lisa Hilton, manage to capture the excitement of a very memorable day for young and old alike.
