Australian flags were everywhere you looked along with medals holding sacred stories of our local war heroes.
As the march led towards the town Cenotaph, hundreds gathered around for the main service.
A huge representation from local schools saw students right at the front of the service.
During the service, a large number of wreaths were laid by local people representing a cross section of the community.
Afterwards, invited guests and ex-servicemen enjoyed a luncheon at the RSM Club across the road.
