Inverell Auskick coordinator Stacey Budder-Deen was extremely happy with the event.
“Inverell hosted a huge day of AFL on Sunday. The day started out with a great turn out of Auskickers from Inverell, Glen Innes, Armidale and Tamworth Auskick centres,” she said.
Kids from all around the region enjoyed a fun morning of skill sessions, followed by age-based games.
Local Auskickers were extremely happy to showcase their beautiful oval to their visitors.
“Thank you to Woolworths for providing fresh fruit and water for the kids, and to Terese from NAB for providing the kids with Auskick packs.
“Congratulations to all the kids who received medallions for best and fairest from their centres and to those kids who received NAB AFL footballs for being our 'Rising stars'.”
The afternoon session involved sessions for under 14s, under 17s and youth girls.
