Everyone, regardless of religious belief, is welcome to this cultural experience that marks a lunar month of fasting for the muslim community.
“The first few days are always hard, but it gets easier after a while,” says Tawseef Hamid, despite his work with food at the Indian restaurant.The free Indian meal provided will be as simple as possible, made up of chicken, lamb and rice that will be mildly spicy.
Last year, the event drew a hundred people and the organisers hope to double the amount this year.
