Hundreds of high school students flooded into Varley Oval on Wednesday to ask questions and get some careers advice from the 40 stallholders who were assembled there.

Universities, local businesses, such as Bindaree Beef, wind farms and local supermarkets were among the employers who were there to answer questions and give advice.
Interactive stalls included TAFE’s robotics and cooking, Simply Print Anything’s crazy car and of course our photo booth that provided some comic relief for students contemplating their future careers.
Steven Bradbury, former Olympic champion and motivational speaker, encouraged the teens to pursue their passions. He inspired them with humour.
His main message: Chase your dreams and never give up!
