Residents in Inverell and neighbouring towns are now able to shop for their groceries online and collect them from the designated Click & Collect carpark at Coles.
Coles Inverell store manager Damien Hubner said employees were excited to bring extra convenience to locals.
“Particularly busy parents who will be able to get more time back through being able to do their grocery shop at home,” he said.
“We’re proud to continue our investment into Inverell and into our growing team with the launch of this new service.”
When ordering groceries online, shoppers can select one of six collection times from 8am-8pm on a day that suits them, with personal shoppers hand packing their order from the store, ready for collection. Same day collection is also available at the store when customers place their order from 11am.
Through home delivery, Click & Collect and smart lockers, Coles says that over 95 percent of Australians can now shop with the store online.
By 2019, Coles is aiming to offer all customers the option of collecting their online shopping at any one of its 800 supermarkets and 700 Coles Express sites across Australia.
