A simulated motor vehicle accident will capture the teens’ attention and remind them of the serious consequences they face on the road. Emergency vehicles, including police, ambulance and the Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA), will arrive at the ‘accident scene’ and demonstrate how they would respond in a similar real life situation.
Presentations will be made by the NSW Police Force, Inverell VRA and the Hunter New England Health Brain Unit.
Held at the Inverell Town Hall and along the river bank on Thursday, August 2, local service clubs will be providing a barbecue lunch for the youngsters.
