WHO doesn’t love a Bunnings sausage sizzle?
Well, there’s now just one more reason to enjoy them, with special barbecues being held across Australia to raise money for drought relief.
Tamworth, Armidale, Inverell and the rest of the NSW and ACT’s stores will have the barbies running hot from 9am to 4pm.
Every cent of the proceeds will go to Rural Aid’s NSW Buy a Bale Campaign.
“Help raise funds for rural communities and families impacted by the NSW drought by buying a snag at your local Bunnings store,” a spokesperson said.
The other Australian states and territories will host their barbecues next Friday, August 10.
The latest NSW DPI drought map show that the state is now 99.9 per cent drought-affected, in drought or in intense drought.
The remaining 0.01 per cent of NSW is listed as being in recovery from drought.
