A 27-year-old man was arrested at a home on Short Street, Inverell, at 1.30am last Saturday, August 11.

The police searched the property and seized several items, including a rifle believed to have been stolen in March, a machete, a mobile phone and a computer hard drive.
The man was taken to Inverell Police Station and charged for numerous offences including a carjacking of a Subaroo hatchback, where he allegedly took a car and drove it with somebody in it, during a robbery in Green Valley, Sydney.
He was also charged with breaking an AVO.

He was refused bail to be in Inverell court last Saturday.
Police inquiries are continuing.
