Bingara Newsagency announced today that they had sold the first prize ticket in the Mega Jackpot Lottery 1118, drawn this morning.
“We may not have sold the 100 Million Dollar Powerball ticket but don't be upset because we have just found out that we sold the first prize ticket of $200,000.00 in the Mega Jackpot Lottery,” the store’s Facebook post read.
The prize has not yet been claimed, and the newsagency is encouraging locals to share the news with their family and friends in the hopes of finding the recipient of what is sure to be a life-changing windfall.
Inverell Newsagency was equally excited when an anonymous winner collected $200,000 late last year after purchasing a ticket in the local store. In January a ‘three amigos’ private syndicate from the Gwydir Shire won over $2 million in Oz Lotto.
