On Friday Bingara Newsagency announced that they had sold the first prize ticket in the Mega Jackpot Lottery.
“Well, the drought has broken for someone,” owner Rod King said.
The prize has not yet been claimed, and the newsagency is encouraging locals to share the news in the hopes of finding the recipient.

Staff member Bec Edwards was elated by the win, but warned that it was important for the winner to come forward.
“The ticket is not registered and therefore, if accidently lost or destroyed, the prize may never be claimed,” she said.
