Held Friday evening (September 7) at the Town and Country Club, situated next to the ambulance station in Otho Street, everyone is invited to unwind and enjoy some delicious nibbles and wine.
The relaxed evening will double as a fundraiser for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Cheryl Strahley said tickets will be available on the door with the event formally proceeding at 6pm.
“There will be a great selection of wine, cheese, sandwiches, fruit and other nibbles for everyone to enjoy.
“It’s a great way to finish the working week and raise money for a vital service,” she said.
Last year around 80 people attended the event, with organisers hoping for a larger crowd tomorrow evening.
“The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service assists people from around Inverell all the time whether its taking patients to larger hospitals or attending farm accidents… It’s absolutely vital.”
The Red Cross as been established for 100 years, actively raising funds to benefit those locally and internationally.
Inverell Red Cross is always open to new members and donations.
