Eight teams from Sydney North, Hunter, Sydney South West, Sydney West, Western, North Coast, South Coast, Sydney East, Riverina and the North West took the court on Tuesday.
Teams were chosen after each association hosted their own trial to pick a team of nine for the yearly championships.
Working on a rotational basis, it was the North West’s turn to host the competition, and Inverell was the perfect location.
The round-robin style championships saw each team face off with each other in both singles and doubles matches.
Each team played four doubles matches with any team combination, where as singles depended on each individual player’s ranking.
The highest ranked team at the end of the three day competition will take home the championships for 2018.
