The Inverell Shire Council and the Macintyre Lions Club will run a collection service available to all residents within the town limits of Inverell on Sunday, November 25.
E-waste is any electrical goods that can be plugged in, for example, fridges, computers, stereos, kitchen appliances etc. Whitegoods refer to large electrical appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines.
Any residents wishing to receive this service must register their collection details with the council, by phoning the Civil and Environmental Services Department on (02) 6728 8200.
Registration is compulsory to ensure sufficient volunteers are available on the day. Any person not registering will not receive the service.
Registrations close 4pm on Wednesday, November 21. Late registrations will not be accepted.
