There was another great turn out of budding cricketers who went through a number of activities including ball skills out on Varley.
Meanwhile, in under 10s there was a couple of smaller teams this week which made for more time at the crease.
Annalyce, Nico and Dan all posted a number of fours early on with Luke, Angus and Preston also keeping the runs ticking over.
Riley and Henry took some very handy and timely wickets with Brigalow and Will adding a couple of run outs.
Will and Riley then sought about reigning in the total set.
Henry, Aiden and Sam all put in solid big total innings, though the bowling from the likes of Dan, Angus and Edward meant they came up short on the total.
Due to a variety of cricketing contractual events in the under 12s, many players weren’t available for Friday night cricket.
Therefore this became a single match with the four teams being mixed together in to two.
The level of excitement was nonetheless extreme. Therefore the draw next week will be RSM vs S&C and Staggy vs C&F.
The under 12s representative side played Moree at Varley on Sunday.
The tourists batted first and Inverell then went in following a big total. Both sides batted a second time with Inverell making it to the 38th over before being bowled out.
Moree took the win and the wind home with them.
Organisers sent out a big thank you to all that helped with the day with a special thanks to James.
