A 14-year-old Inverell youth was arrested on Tuesday, January 8 and charged with two counts of break, enter and steal, and goods in custody suspected of being stolen after investigations into several different incidents at Inverell.

The charges relate to break and enters into two homes where jewellery and other items were stolen.

The first being in Andrew Street, Inverell that occured in April 2018 and another break and enter into a home in Brae Street that occurred in May 2018.
He was also charged with goods in custody suspected of being stolen after property including a mobile telephone and a number of compound bows were recovered from his residence on December 19, 2018.
The youth was granted conditional bail and will appear at Inverell Children’s Court on February 7, 2019.
