Harley H played an excellent innings to retire, as did Corey.
Wes worked hard in the bowling stakes to take two for one off two overs.
Lawson also managed to take a wicket for Staggy and Luke managed to bowl a maiden over in his second spell with the ball.
Rocco took a catch to dismiss Connor.
In response Lawson, Nick, Rocco and Wes all managed to retire. George had an unlucky runout and Damon managed to get a second innings with the bat.
Myles proved very handy with the ball and totaled one for eight off three overs.
Harley H made a welcome return with the ball and proved very economical.
Cooper assisted in only losing six runs over his two overs.
Corey grabbed a key wicket for figures of 1 for 5.
Myles through a ball in from the outfield to dismiss the bails and take a runout. This fell just short though for Campbell and Freebairn losing by four runs.
Meanwhile, Matt and Louis led the charge early for RSM tallying 23 runs between them against Square and Compass.
Dalton and Ryan both managed to retire and Tom was unbeaten.
For Square and Compass, Angus bowled beautifully and deservedly took a wicket to finish one for nine.
John went ever so close to taking a classic catch and Jalen had an excellent spell with the Keeping gloves on.
Mallee’s bowling improved dramatically in his second over as did Isaac’s where he only went for one run.
EJ’s bowling also impressed with obvious improvement as the season progresses.
Square and Compass then took the bat with Angus blasting from the beginning, however was caught and bowled by Harley T on his ninth ball faced.
Isaac, Mallee and Georgie all retired to help chase down the total.
Jalen and John were not out at the end of the match with RSM winning by only seven runs.
Jalen took home the match ball, which was well-deserved.
Each week the skill level of each junior cricketer in Inverell rises as they put into practise what has been taught.
Players look forward to heading out on the turf to face each other at the end of each week.
All competition is left on the field after the game as mates gather chat about the highlights of the match.
Then, they count down the days until they can do it all over again.
