A community debrief and reflection meeting will be held on Thursday evening for locals in Tingha, Gilgai and surrounding areas affected by the blaze.
Starting from 6pm at the Tingha hall, New England zone RFS manager Superintendent Steve Mepham encouraged engagement on the evening.
"It is important to gather as much information from as many people as possible that have been affected by the fire, as well as information from representatives of the RFS.

"This meeting is a great opportunity to share and reflect on experiences both during and after the fire. It's a really good opportunity to capture valuable feedback that we can take into the bush fire management committees after action review and report to the coroner," he said.
Residents will be able to hear from and speak with local NSW RFS representatives regarding what occurred during the fire, Mr Mepham said in a media release.
Discussion will include an overview of the fire, recovery procedures and contacts; setting a date to review the current Tingha Community Protection Plan and to see how relevant the information was in light of how the fire event unfolded.
Residents will also have an opportunity to speak individually with RFS representatives over a cup of tea.
