Over the next four weeks, Jules will strive towards having her work on display.
She's always had an affliction for photography, having an Instagram page, Midnight_Picturesque, despite only having a small community of 84 followers.
"Nature and people have always had a way of pulling me in. I love how every picture will be different, and you'll never find anything unique than a person's facial expression."
Jules loves her work, and puts a little bit of herself into every picture she not only posts, but everyone of her photos she takes.
She is over the moon to have this opportunity, one that has been a dream of hers since before she was even in high school.
Hoping to go to university to study journalism, this will be the advantage that Jules has been hoping for.
Over the four weeks, Jules would like to expand her knowledge of writing as well as improve and develop her style.
She is working with a team of friendly journalists whose experience will guide her in this journey.
Looking forward to the weeks to come, Jules is excited to see what will be thrown at her.
But for her fantasy to finally become a reality, she could not imagine anything better.
"I look forward to meeting people in the community, and hearing any of their story ideas."
Jules can be contacted at the Inverell Times on 6720 0100.
