Starting the day off with a 'slime, bubbles and sherbet workshop', children created yummy treats which left everyone with smiles on their faces.
Learning is never boring when you are allowed to get messy, as youngsters got close and personal with bubbles and oobleck- a cornstarch and water mixture that can act like a solid and a liquid.
Later, a liquid nitrogen show was held for local teens.
They saw what happens when objects get a little too close for comfort with nitrogen.
The results shocked the audience.
A demonstrator showed the reaction of a frozen tennis ball when pressure is applied to it- participants were surprised.
At the end of the day everyone was treated with a nitrogen-made ice cream- a cool way to end the experience!
