After numerous unlucky twists during the race, the Bahrain Merida team considered the finish a good result for this edition of the Paris-Roubaix.
"I had a flat tyre twice" Haussler commented, very disappointed, after the finish.
"It was all about chasing. Moreover with a strong headwind all day, I spent energies to bridge to the first group. Too bad because I felt good".
An unlucky Hell of the North for Matej Mohori, who crashed in a key moment of the race, when the Trouée d'Arenberg was about to come and couldn't manage to get back with the main peloton.
Regrets for Ivan Cortina as well, who had a mechanical issue right after he attacked together with the riders that then led the race.
Kristijan Koren was the only of our rider able to stay with Haussler in the first chasing group in the final 50km, after the decisive move of Gilbert, Sagan and other few riders, that contested this year's Roubaix, won by the Belgian rider who beat Politt in a two-up sprint.
