An unusual medium, Yvonne breaks down paper or fabric into pulp, which she colours and forms into eclectic and vibrant mixed media artworks.
"It can be a really fine, gossamer-like, almost seeing through it, to more rippled, perforated, almost sculptural," she said.
"The work that's on display is the biggest lot of stuff I've ever done. I've exhibited before a few of these pulp paintings, but I've spent the last year working towards this exhibition."
Yvonne fell in love with the craft around 40 years ago in a Toowoomba workshop. Thanks to her resourceful uncle, husband and father; she soon had a wide range of equipment to create pulp works.
Yvonne's pieces will be exhibited at Ceramic Break Sculpture Park from this Saturday, April 27.
