Returned service personnel, sub-branch members, veteran groups, emergency services, schools, families of those lost, cadets and many other local organisations assembled for the march in Vivian Street.

As they made their way down Byron Street, residents began clapping to show their respect and appreciation for those who have served.
The end of the march was also the start of Inverell's main commemoration service at the Cenotaph, which began at 11am.
