Australia will vote for a new Federal government on May 18 as New England decides between Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce and a small field of opponents.
Independents Natasha Ledger, Rob Taber and Adam Blakester, Christian Democratic Party's Julie Collins, Labor's Yvonne Langenberg, the Greens' Tony Lonergan, United Australia Party's Cindy Duncan have all laid their claim to the seat, each with their particular areas of focus.

If you are pre-poll voting, Inverell's town hall will open at 8.30am every day this week until Friday, May 17.
On Tuesday and Thursday, doors will close at 5.30pm and on Wednesday and Friday at 6pm.
On election day, May 18, polling places in the Inverell shire will open at 8am and close at 6pm sharp.
