With outright second place on the Group 19 second division league tag table up for grabs, it was touted as one of the most important matches of the round seven fixtures.
Momentum favoured Walcha early after their kick-off wasn't fielded by the visiting Tingha side.
A lacklustre Jillaroos failed to fire and it was the Tigers who put first points on the board with a runaway Selena Landsborough.
The Walcha side hit back shortly after but the 10-6 scoreline at half-time favoured the visitors with Olivia Turner giving them the edge. The second stanza saw Tingha continue their dominance. The Tigers girls capitalised on Walcha's errors with Sharnie Cullen and Alaina Crawford crossing.
The final scoreline read 18-10 in favour of Tingha, earning them second on the league tag ladder.
Tahlia Roberts was named best on the field by the referee with three Group 19 best and fairest points.
In the men's match, Walcha notched up their third win for the season in a hard-fought encounter.
The match see-sawed but eventually the hosts took the win 30-22.
Meanwhile, other results from the booming second division competition include Bundarra defeating Bingara 46-14 in a stellar match.
Warialda won on forfeit over Tenterfield, while Uralla defeated Ashford 36-18. As it stands the men's division two table sees Warialda sitting up top on 14 points followed by Bundarra on 12.
Uralla are on eight above Ashford and Walcha- both on seven. Bingara then sits on four and Tingha and Tenterfield sit bottom on two.
In league tag, Bingara defeated Bundarra 22-6. Warialda won on forfeit over Tenterfield, while Uralla 78 defeated Ashford 4.
In the league tag table Uralla are leaders on 14, Tingha sit below on 12, Walcha are third on 10 while Bingara, Warialda and Tenterfield all sit on six points.
Bundarra sit second last on two and Ashford are yet to score a win. The 2019 Group 19 second division competition has really fired up since round one and has become a popular following.
