While others may have been relaxing, a few passionate local tennis players were battling it out on court.
The best result of those travelling to Grafton was from young gun Ben Butler.
The talent managed to finish as a semi-finalist in the AMT Men's Singles and a quarter-finalist consolation in the 16 and under boys singles.
While Arthur Tighe, who also made his way to Grafton, finished as a runner up in his age group doubles tournament.
Arthur and his young brother Aiden recently competed at a JDS Tournament in Glen Innes.
Aiden finished third out of eight boys in the 10 and under while Arthur won the open men's singles.
At the Bingara tennis tournament, Mark O'Brien and Geoff Blanck won the veterans men's doubles.
Geoff teamed up with his son Nick to finish runner up in the B-grade men's doubles.
Warwick Hodkinson finished runner-up in the special men's singles while father and son duo Brett and Nick Parker won the C-grade men's doubles.
