Roman will perform on Sunday, July 21 from 2.30pm at the Salvation Army Citadel in Vivian Street, Inverell.
As an international pianist of virtuoso quality, Roman has won many awards over the years. He is an American concert pianist born in New York into a family of professional musicians of Ukrainian background.
Performances have taken him all over the world. His 2019 Australian tour is his 21st here and started from mid-June.
He has played recitals several times in Inverell ranging from the Sydney Opera House to many small country and outback towns in every state.
In 1993, Roman gave the Australian premiere performance of the then recently discovered Liszt Concerto No. 3 in E Flat for piano and orchestra as soloist with the SBS Youth Orchestra in the Sydney Town Hall.
He has, as of 2017, played in about 100 countries performing over 45 different works for piano and orchestra including as a soloist with many orchestras around the world.
He has also played recitals on P & O and Cunard Ships.
Recitals will include: Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (J S Bach), Sonata in E Flat, op. 31 No. 3 (Ludwig van Beethoven), Hungarian Rhapsody No. 12 (Franz Liszt) and Peer Gynt Suite No.1 (Edvard Grieg).
Many other composers and their works will be recited during the day. Tickets will be available at the door for $30 (adults) and $5 (students). Prices include morning tea.
