Danthonia Bruderhof will host a 'Sharing Hope in Crisis' seminar run by the Billy Graham Evangelical Association's (BGEA) Rapid Response Team this Saturday, July 20.

The seven-hour event will equip participants with knowledge of how to share the love of Christ with neighbours, coworkers and friends in crisis.
Run by BGEA chaplain and AU/NZ team manager Stewart Beveridge, registration will open at 8.30am for a 9am start with lunch provided.
Although the training is faith-based, the event is open to anyone who would like to participate.
The seminar is designed to help people find the words to speak meaningfully and compassionately into the lives of people going through all types of crisis and trauma.
Topics include:
- A mission to respond - why do we do this?
- Suffering and Trauma - what is trauma, how does it affect behaviour?
- A ministry of hope - what hope do we have in grief?
- A message to share - God's love in crisis ministry?
- Ministry to a diverse community - toward helpful engagement.
- A messenger to serve - Rapid Response Team Chaplaincy in Australia
The Sharing Hope in Crisis seminar was developed to train and equip the local church for ministry within their local community.
The event will explore the why, how and what of caring for men and women when crisis rises, held at Danthonia (4188 Gwydir Highway, Elsmore).
