Artwork viewing and bidding on the wide collection began on July 8. Hundreds of pieces are up for grabs at the auction finale being held this Friday evening.
Art Gallery manager Jo Williams said the event, previously held in 2016, was back by popular demand.
Each work is on show accompanied by a bidding card with the piece's title, and reserve- if it has one. Eager art-lovers may enter in a friendly bidding war for their piece/s of choice.
"The last auction was very successful and lots of fun so we thought we'd do it again. A lot of the pieces on offer this year have been donated to us. Some are being sold on commission but majority have been donated to the gallery."
All are welcome to participate in the auction finale on Friday (July 19) at the Inverell Art Gallery on Evans Street. Doors will open from 5.30pm and all bidding will finish at 7pm.
A bar will be operating and for just $10, a curry dinner will be available.
"We're looking forward to that crazy bidding frenzy just before 7pm. All money will come back to the gallery. We are a community gallery and volunteers organise fundraisers to pay for all those boring day-to-day running costs."
Those who would like to check out the collection before Friday are able to drop down to the gallery between 10am and 4pm to register.
Jo invited those who may not be interested in bidding to attend the auction finale to view the range of works on offer.
"There's a huge range of styles, tastes and also a lot of the art works don't have reserves so you can get a real bargain," she said.
