An Arts North West's Country Art Support Program (CASP) grant allowed the workshops to be free of charge for eager, young artists.
Youngsters between the ages of 10 to 16 created black swans from malleable wire and paper, which they painted and decorated over three days.
A total of 17 participants had great fun sculpting and decorating their magnificent masterpieces.
The swans will be hung from bamboo poles and carried by their makers as part of the Sapphire City Festival parade in October this year.
The theme of the swan was chosen as the black swan is a well known emblem for Inverell.
