The 15-year-old young gun was scouted whilst playing with the NSW CCC Country team in Sydney last year around June.
He was then contacted by a recruitment officer who invited him to participate in development training sessions in Brisbane.
After impressing a number of scouts, he was offered a contract. House will bid farewell to his home town next year to attend Nudgee College.
"I'll play for one of their feeder clubs the North Devils. I have a camp coming up in January in Geelong and I'll do pre-season with the NRL team," he said.
Twice a year House will travel to Melbourne for development camps where he will learn and grow his skills as an athlete. With a goal to one day play in the NRL, House was thrilled to be given the huge opportunity.
Fresh from captaining the NSW CCC Country Team in Sydney last week, the local has always strived to achieve his ambitions in footy.
"We played three games. We went good, won our first game against Illawarra and our second game against Mount Carmel Catholic but lost our last game against the Panthers."
Playing with Inverell Minor League Hawks for 10 years, House features mainly as a full or half back.
Inverell's Minor League congratulated the local through their Facebook page.
"We will miss Jake from a club level, not only as an amazing player, but as a great ambassador to the younger kids and volunteer to our great club.
"Jake has been a player, referee and volunteer for many years and we sincerely wish him all the best for his future career in rugby league.
"Also, a massive thank you to his parents Brad and Rachelle for supporting Jake to this level and for all the help they have both given to IML Hawks for many years," they wrote.
