An initiative of Inverell drama teacher Stephanie Marshall, Unstop-Ability celebrates all ages and ability levels.
As the creative director, Ms Marshall said more than 70 performers will take centre-stage on October 17 and 18.
Performers have come from the Dramamatics, Inverell High School, Ross Hill School, Macintyre High, Holy Trinity and Drama Dreams.
"Of those the vast majority live with a disability but not all of them. This performance is a collaboration with those experiencing disability and those who are not and I think that's a really positive thing.
"Unstop-Ability is born of the desire to give people who live with a disability, who are quite marginalised, an opportunity to be the main attraction in the performance rather than just the supporting cast."
The performance piece focuses on music and movement rather than text, although there will be some speaking involved.
Ms Marshall said a strong component of sign language will be involved this year to bridge barriers in communication.
Off the back of a packed out performance last year, 'Reach for the Stars' has a message of going forward.
"Last year it was just called Unstop-Ability so we thought, let's go forward, let's go up. It's slightly more complex than last year and it incorporates our stars which are the performers."
After speaking with an Aboriginal elder, Ms Marshall found a way to include indigenous culture into the performance which also fits well with the 'Reach for the Stars' theme.
Young, Aboriginal students from Ross Hill were learning the emu dance, a story about the dark emu constellation.
"The students will perform the dance as part of our show this year."
Blown away by the support of 2018's performance, Ms Marshall encouraged Inverell to once again "turn up".
Unstop-Ability artistic coordinator Michèle Jedlicka found it hard to express how incredible the program was.
"You are supporting people, who are too often overlooked, to find and share their voice on a main stage, as the bonafide performing artists they are. I am so proud to be art of this production again.
"Nobody should be invisible, and Unstop-Ability allows people to shine so brightly, you can't help but see them, and keep seeing them after the performance."
Unstop-Ability: Reach for the Stars will be performed in the Inverell Town Hall on Thursday, October 17 at 12pm and Friday, October 18 at 6pm. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
Unstop-Ability have created a GoFundMe page to assist with costs associated with the production. Search for 'Unstop-Ability: Help us reach for the stars!' to donate.
With no government support the production has relied heavily on local community donations.
