Manager Darren Finn travelled to Tweed Heads with fighters Matt Underwood, Rod Prentis and Nathan Krauss for the September 14 event, hosted by Kingscliff Boxing Stables.
Invited to participate in amateur bouts on the same fight card as some world class professional boxers, the Inverell fighters were prepared.
Up against Kingscliff boy Zac Spring, Prentis came through with a right, left hook combination to knock out his opponent in the third round.
"It was a good three rounds, took me a bit to get a feel for him. It was a close fight so we both knew we had to show up in the third round. I caught him with a right hook to the body and a left to the head."
Spring dropped on the ropes before getting up on the last eight count. Prentis said his opponent called it off with a head nod and shoulder shrug.
With two weeks notice Krauss was asked to replace another heavyweight boxer on the card, up against Kingscliff's Chris Wishart who had triple the experience.
"I wasn't supposed to fight him but they needed someone on late notice. It's a massive show and you don't say no to an opportunity like that," he said.
Wishart looked the part, and with each of the three rounds one 1.5 minutes long, Krauss knew there was no time to muck around.
The Inverell boy, who had only fought four proper bouts prior, won on split decision by sticking to a simple game plan.
"We knew he was a good fighter but we were told that if I boxed him and really put it on him I'd win, so I did."
Underwood's bout was called off due to unfortunate circumstances unrelated to fight which lead to the result of a no contest. Finn said he won the first two rounds.
"He was looking for a stoppage in the third round. Matt was really looking like stopping his guy, so it was a shame it had to be called off.
"We're very thankful for the opportunities we get with BoxingMania so a big thanks to Nick and Angelo."
The next outing for SAS fighters will be at Moree next month. Finn thanked Jobs Australia Enterprises for their continued support.
