Online entries were being encouraged prior to the event, however registrations will be taken from 7.30am on the day.
The event offers three different run lengths to encourage all ages and abilities to take part, as well as people from the wider north west region.
Open to anyone 12 years and up, competitors range from young teens to 80-year-olds. The first distance is set at 2.5 kilometres, the second 4.6km and the third 9.2km.
The huge running event has grown from strength to strength throughout the years, with the quality of athletic competitors increasing and improving but one thing has not changed.
"The community involvement has stayed very strong all the way through. That's what it's really about, not so much winning, but getting involved and having a fun community day," Alistair Williams said.
Each track can be walked, run or jogged. Every person is encouraged to take part in either of the three tracks they see fit.
The 4.6km will begin at 8.35am and the 2.5km at 9.30am. Enter online through www.trybooking.com/550197.
