For the past three years both clubs have donated funds, raised through various events, to assist these local children attend a three-day getaway.
This year, the students have set their eyes on Port Macquarie and look forward to exploring the coastal town.
They'll visit the zoo, the koala hospital, hit the waves, camp at Lighthouse Beach, check out Timbertown, go river cruising and see the koala sculpture trail.
Macintyre Lions Club vice-president David Doak said the sponsorship was made possible due to local support of their mini lotto, held every week.
"We sell tickets in the main street. We have a few other fundraisers and we get some good donations so that allows us to assist with different things," he said.
The students themselves raised $600 to put towards the excursion through recycling and ticket sales of the school musical.
Plenty of photos and videos will be taken during the trip and once they return, the students will create a slideshow and invite both clubs to a morning tea.
The special morning tea will be a combined thank you and a display of how much fun the students had during the trip.
Both clubs look forward to hearing stories of their Port Macquarie travels soon.
