A hoarder has been fined $5100, a day after a magistrate found she and her sister wilfully obstructed police during a court-approved council-led clean-up of their Bondi property.

Liana and Elena Bobolas were arrested outside their home in July 2015 after breaching a court order not to go within 10 metres of council workers cleaning up their property and of machinery such as trucks.
In Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday, magistrate Jacqueline Trad found proven three obstruction offences against Liana Bobolas and one against Elena Bobolas.
She imposed a $2000 fine on Elena Bobolas, but because her sister was not present due to her being unwell, the magistrate adjourned her sentencing until Wednesday.
However, Liana Bobolas did not turn up on Wednesday when Ms Trad convicted her of the three offences in her absence and fined her $5100.
The sisters had made various complaints including claims of police brutality.
But the magistrate said video footage showed officers had been "gentle, calm and patient" while the sisters were combative and argumentative.
