The qualifying round for the Marquart Jug, a 4-ball match play, was played way back in July and elimination matches have been played monthly until the final two pairs were decided mid-November.
The Mills Plate participants were the pairs eliminated from the Jug in round one and was also reduced to the final two pairs two weeks back.
John Foulcher and Troy Craven took out the Jug when they defeated Steve Kent and Gary Hadland two holes up with one hole to play.
John and Troy were two up heading down to the bottom nine but Steve and Gary started a good run and were able to take the lead on the 13th hole.
John and Troy immediately hit back over the next three holes and claimed the Jug on the 17th.
In the Mills Plate, Scott Moylan and Marcus Muggleton had an easier match when they clinched their win on the 14th with four holes to go against Mark Lane and Darrell Hughes.
In the stableford, played Saturday, Barry Holland, 44 points and Ian Jeffery, 42 points, took the main prize money.
Place-getters were Howard Finlen, 40, John Coote and Geoff Bucknell, 39, and Bob Albinus and Don Sims, 38 points.
There were some other results worth noting.
John Coote and Ben Swan each scored eagles on the 15th and Matt McHarg and John Coote finished with 67 and 69 off the stick.
Next Saturday will be another big day with the past 12 Monthly Mug winners competing in a playoff for the Gold Mug.
They will play this in conjunction with the December Sutton Insurance Brokers Monthly Mug.
The nine-hole Dash for Cash continues throughout the week and a medley stableford will be played on Sunday.
