Sunday saw the Inverell Under 12's representative side travel to Gunnedah to take on Tamworth Gold and then Gunnedah in two T20 matches.

In the first match, Tamworth Gold posted 65 runs with Henry Oliver bowling 1 for 6 off two overs, Annalisa Collins 1 for 3 off two, Connor Bailey 1 for 5, Barnaby Munro 1 for 7 and Charles Turnbull 1 for 6.
All other bowlers were particularly economical and there were even three runouts with one orchestrated by Charles.
In the batting, Fergus Roger was retired at 22 after hitting the winning runs. Henry Oliver posted 11 Annalisa Collins and Georgie Leonard were both not out in the finish and the Inverell side ended up at 81 runs to take a well deserved victory. Charles Turnbull won the match ball.
Playing against Gunnedah Inverell bowled first with success coming from Georgie Leonard, Barnaby Munro and Charles Turnbull's bowling.
Henry Oliver took two catches in the deep to help keep the wickets coming.
Tom Taylor and Zac Riley were tireless in the field with Josh Cathie always on hand to boost morale with the side. Gunnedah finished on 113 off 20 overs.
At the crease Henry Ballinger batted well to kick off the run chase. Captain Georgie Leonard top scored for the side with Josh left unbeaten on 5 runs after seeing his team slip away around him.
Whilst Inverell lost the match, cricket was the real winner here. Henry Oliver won the match ball.
