Each year a different club hosts the event. 2020 marks Inverell's 60th opportunity at playing hosts; with president Dave Adams describing it as a landmark event.
Around 170 juniors and associates will gear up to compete in a number of events throughout the three days of competition at Inverell's showgrounds.
From 8am Friday morning riders will compete in dressage followed by jumping at 10am and later in the afternoon, campdraft events will start.
Ring events will be held on Saturday and sporting finals will be on Sunday, Adams encouraged spectators to take advantage of the free entry.
Each Jamboree team are allowed a maximum of 20 rides and six associates, due to a last minute change, Inverell will boast 19 juniors and six associates.
Local riders have been competing in different competitions, pony clubs and inter-club competitions throughout the season in preparation.
"We split riders into age groups with boys and girls separate. Riders start from U7s all the way up to 17-year-olds. Associates are aged from 17 to 25 years."
Each rider competes in 11 classes and accumulates points to determine the age division champion and champion reserve points scorers on day three.
All clubs are competing for the ultimate Jamboree trophy, awarded to the club that accumulate the most points overall.
"We invite all past Inverell members to come along and watch the events. We have free entry, with competition on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
"The bar is operating both nights and the canteen will be operating throughout the day," he said.
Inverell Pony Club members have spent months organising the competition to ensure the event is a success for all involved.
The annual three-day competition culminates the end of the season for the region's pony clubbers.
The historic 60-year milestone of Inverell playing hosts will be a celebrated occasion as members, new and old, share memories.
