The format of the event combines Ambrose, Stableford and aggregate with teams having to use six tee shots from each player.
Seventeen men's teams took part in the event with the team of Morgan and Matthew Reece and Matt O'Reilly winning the day with 86 points.
The win was in a count-back with Tony Baldwin, Tristan Irwin and Rusty Brien.
The winners will travel to Pacific Dunes Golf Club, Port Stephens, to play the Regional Final later in the year.
A single stableford was also set down for Saturday for those not wishing to play the three-ball.
This was won by Rowan Butler with 36 points. Next best was Bob Albinus, 34 points, and Geoff Bucknell, 33 points.
Young Ben Butler was the standout in Sunday's competition with 41 points. Ben picked up the money pool for the day. He was eight points clear of second placed Howard Finlen.
Next Saturday, March 28, will be a stableford and the last chance to finish round three of the Presidents Cup for the eight players left in that matchplay comp.
Sunday will be a medley stableford with the new arrangements in place. It will cost $15 to play.
The club will take the normal fees and the remainder goes to the day's winner. There will be no nearest the pins.
Col Flood was the winner of Tuesday's veterans golf with 37 points. Col had a brilliant first nine scoring 26 points.
As the club house was closed, Col couldn't get his half time coffee and his form waned on the bottom nine.
John Foulcher took second spot with 36 points. Placegetters were Allen Bujack, 35 points, and Graham Moore, 32.
The club house has closed but competitions are still able to run through the pro shop. Players should check on changed conditions before hitting off in any comp.
The golf course looks a picture now thanks to the rain and the hard work of greenkeepers Ben Watling and Andrew Bowen.
These fellows have been helped by Ben's father, Bob, and club members Gordon Dean, John Coote and Bob Watson.
All have been relentless in their endeavor to get the fairway and rough grass under control.
Dave Wargent has also done a wonderful job in clearing up the mess left after the flooding of the gulley's.
