A Drought Communities Small Business Support Program aims to assist eligible businesses to better understand their financial position and identify options and implement plans to improve their viability.
Inverell's RFCS will offer small business financial counselling free of charge under the Australian Government program.
Experienced rural business support counsellors, like Bill Colless, understand the impacts drought, and now COVID-19, have had on small, local businesses.
Bill recently arrived in Inverell to assist in providing the rural business support service offered by the RFCS.
His management accounting background in the agribusiness, manufacturing, construction and education sectors results in extensive experience in the formulation of business plans, budgeting, cash flow management, reporting and variance analysis, costing, capital expenditure assessment, project management and relationship management.
In addition, he has operated his own small business and his own farming enterprise. Bill spent his early years at Bundarra on the family farm.
His family subsequently moved to Singleton to a cattle farm where Bill spent his teen years.
His past involvement in small business and his life experiences results in a deep understanding of the many challenges faced by small business operators today.
Given the current constraints of social distancing around COVID-19 give Bill a call today on 0428 098 841 or send an email to bill@rfcsnr.org.au for a confidential chat.
