Inverell's Rural Crime Prevention Team have launched an investigation into the presumed-stolen cattle and would like to speak with anyone with information.
Investigators say the cattle were counted and placed in the Nest Stock Route on the New England Highway, Ben Lomond in March 2020.
The stock were then mustered and counted during drenching on July 20, where owners identified the missing cattle and informed police.
The cattle have been described as four to five year cows heavy in calf.
They are a mix of breeds including Angus, Shorthorn and Charolais and are black (Angus), cream (Charolais), red and roan (Shorthorn), in colour.
The cattle have a hook shaped ear mark in the top middle of the offside ear and are all fitted with NLIS buttons commencing with the PIC number NA251602.
Some have various coloured management tags in their ears.
Investigators from the Rural Crime Prevention Team at Inverell are keen to speak with any person who may be able to assist with any information in relation to the missing cattle or any person who has been sighted acting suspiciously in or around the Nest Stock Route on the New England Highway at Ben Lomond.
Investigators encourage all persons to report stock theft promptly even small numbers of stock.
