Inverell's all-weather netball courts were put to good use on Sunday while hosting rounds one and two of the Northern Inland Netball NSW Bing Lee Regional League Competition.

Although a little cold, the rain did not dampen the spirits of keen representative netball players eager to take the court and showcase their skills.
Teams from Glen Innes, Moree, Quirindi, Tamworth and Inverell competed in three age categories, 15s, 17s and opens, playing against each other to try and climb the competition ladder.
Strong games were played throughout the day, with Inverell's three teams seeing some great results.
Inverell's 17s side played six games on Sunday. Five of those were solid wins for the talented side, and the other was a draw.
These results will now see the side lead their division going into the third round and finals in two weeks at Tamworth.
Sitting below Inverell in second place is Quirindi's 17s and Tamworth's 17s in third place.
Meanwhile, Inverell's 15s side also walked away with five wins and a draw to lead their division at the conclusion of the two rounds.
Playing up a division in the 15s, Inverell 14s played extremely well on Sunday and took a lot from their experience with regional league.
The youngest squad won two games and lost four, putting them in third spot in the division at the end of round two.
The association congratulated Grace Kennedy who was awarded her level C badging on Sunday.
Inverell's 15s are at the top of the leader board, while Tamworth's 15s sit below in second place and Inverell 14s are sitting in third place with Glen Innes in fourth place.
Although Inverell did not have an Open division team, Quirindi secured the top spot after Sunday, followed by Tamworth in second and Glen Innes in third place.
Tamworth will host the third round and final of the Northern Inland Netball NSW Bing Lee Regional League Competition on August 9.
Inverell's three teams will continue training hard this week in the lead-up to the last and final round, working on all aspects of the game.
Inverell Netball Association also had three umpires being assessed for their national level C umpiring badge during the competition.

Teresa Hall and Kylie Miller will undergo a second week of assessments in Tamworth in two weeks time.
