Inverell's Rural Crime Prevention Team has launched an investigation into the disappearance of 15 large, Dorper lambs from a property at Mount Russell.

The sheep have been described as 12-month-old, mixed-sex, black-headed Dorper lambs with an ear mark in the top and point of the ears being a slash at each location.
They are also fitted with green coloured NLIS tags with the PIC Number NE331765. They are in prime condition and weigh on average about 50 kilos.
They mostly have black heads and white bodies although some are all black. The lambs were unaccounted from from a property on Hills Lane.
Investigators from the Rural Crime Prevention Team at Inverell are keen to speak with any person who may be able to assist with any information in relation to the missing sheep or any person who has been sighted acting suspiciously in or around Hills Lane or Maher's Lane at Mount Russell.
Investigators encourage all persons to report stock theft promptly even small numbers of stock.
