U6's, U8's, U10's and U12's will take the field playing against teams from around the local region.
Due to COVID-19, only seven carnivals will be held this season, compared to the usual 10-11 rounds.
Junior rugby president James Roger said a lot of hard-work had gone into planning the carnival day at Inverell Sporting Complex.
The event will run a little differently to previous years.
"Central North Rugby has a COVID-19 plan that allows for no more than 500 gathering at the grounds at one time."
Normally a carnival would kick off early and finish around 2pm, however age groups will be staggered in either morning games or afternoon games.
"There are plenty of COVID-19 procedures and safe guards we are putting in place to make sure we are meeting the regulations."
There will be a canteen and coffee van operating on the day, however strict social distancing requirements will apply.
Roger urged all parents and spectators to abide by these rules.
The final draw and field maps will be sent out to parents of players today, in preparation for Sunday. Updates are available on Facebook.
