The Inverell Saints and Glen Innes Celts faced off in round three of teh AFL North West junior competition, with the sides splitting wins at Varley Oval on Saturday.

The under-14s kicked off the day, with a strong first half from the Celts proving the difference in a 7-10-52 to 4-4-28 win.
The Celts carried a 21-point lead into the main break, and despite a much more even second half where both teams kicked three goals apiece, the Saints couldn't drag back the deficit.
Damon Martin kicked three goals for the Saints, with Billy Thom contributing the other.
The under-17s contest went much more in the favour of the Saints, with the home side running away with a big win, the final score 11-15-81 to 0-5-5.
The Saints were in control from start to finish, and limited the Celts to just a single behind in the second half.
Xavier Gobbert, Daniel Blair Sebastian Blair each kicked two goals, with Blake Newman, Jared Martin, Conner Sharpley, William Dickson and Brad Cox all scoring one.
The win means the Saints remain undefeated and on top of the ladder, while the under-14s sit in third with one win from their three matches.
The Celts and Saints will face off once again this weekend, with Inverell travelling to King George V Oval for the round four meeting.
